Meet Our Teachers.

2026-2027

  • Mrs. Anderson

Being a part of the Compass Kids Preschool team, for me, means being part of a strong community that focuses on nurturing children in these early developmental years. When I have free time, I enjoy the outdoors, collecting rocks, and playing with my grandson.

  • Mrs. Baker

Being a part of the Compass Kids Preschool team, for me, means that I get to work with outstanding and professional staff members and administration who support each other and have the same goals to see each student have fun with learning. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, going to concerts, and spending time with my family.

  • Mrs. Bodé

Being a part of the Compass Kids Preschool team, for me, means being a part of a wonderful community with the same passion for teaching and learning. I love spending time with my students watching them play and learn with their friends while growing socially, emotionally, and academically throughout the year. When I have free time, I like to cook for my family, spend my time with my husband, watch my son play soccer and visit my other son who is in college.

  • Mrs. Coverstone

Being a part of the Compass Kids Preschool team, for me, means I get to work with an amazing group of like-minded teachers with the same goal of helping the students grow through a learning environment. It is a privilege to be able to help and watch them develop new skills throughout the school year. When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two dogs. I also enjoy being outside and going shopping.

  • Mrs. Foraker

Being a part of the Compass Kids Preschool team, for me, means a warm, welcoming environment where staff and students are seen, heard, and loved. It brings me so much joy to see the kids' smiling faces as they arrive at school for another day of fun and learning. When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching my kids play sports, going to Sounders games, and baking.

  • Miss. Perman

Being a part of the Compass Kids Preschool team, for me, means being a part of something greater than myself by helping to nourish and encourage the next generation to become the best, healthiest, and most creative versions of themselves possible, alongside a team of people who feel more like family than coworkers. When I have free time, I enjoy reading books of many different genres, expressing my own creativity via writing, and researching things that have caught my attention.

  • Mrs. Peterson

Being part of the Compass Kids Preschool team, for me, means belonging to a community built on kindness, connection, and joyful learning. I love greeting our students each morning and seeing their excitement as they step into a new day of growth and play. When I have free time, I enjoy running, singing on stage at my church, camping, volunteering in my community, and learning new things (right now, I’m having fun practicing ASL).

  • Mrs. Solberg

Being a part of the CKP team, for me, means being an important part of our community and enjoying adventures with our youngest friends! I enjoy being a small part of each child’s growth and development and it brings me joy to see their happy faces when they walk into school. My oldest daughter attended CKP and my youngest is currently a student here. We have enjoyed the school and community so much that I’ve decided to jump in as a teacher this year!

When I have free time, I enjoy hiking, biking, yoga, and spending time with my husband and my two daughters.

  • Mrs. Ramcharan- Admin. Director

Being a part of the CKP team, for me, means I have the opportunity to make our students smile and help families feel supported both here and on staff at Compass City Church. It's truly fulfilling to encourage our team to explore new things and watch as our students and teachers grow in confidence, curiosity, and develop a love for learning. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, connecting with those I love during walks and exchanging funny pictures of our dog with my two boys.

  • Mrs. Recinos- Program Director

Being a part of the CKP team, for me, means spending the day supporting our CKP families and teaching teams. I so enjoy having the opportunity to welcome all of our students to our school; watching them grow and learn is an honor. When I have free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, playing games and watching movies!

  • Mrs. Volz

Being a part of the Compass Kids Preschool team, for me, means creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment for children to grow and discover their love of learning. It means building relationships with staff, families, and students. When I have free time, I enjoy reading, baking and snuggling my dogs.
